This practice offers services related specifically to the Conservation of Easel Paintings including the cleaning and conservation of oil paintings on canvas, panel and other supports. Conservation of modern materials including acrylics and alkyds is part of this practice as is the teaching of Conservation materials and techniques.
Notable examples of work undertaken include the Henry VIII Exhibition at the British Library; large public collections at Westminster City Council; the Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata & writing & teaching a Conservation training programme for the Getty Conservation Institute; the American University of Beirut; Lord Mayor of the City of London’s 1757 State Carriage (see below), as well as work with private collections and galleries.
This practice also conserves and restores painted objects, ephemera and other polychromed works. Please enquire.
