Saleeby Collection at the American University of Beirut

In recent months I have been working with the American University of Beirut on a 60 paintings bequested to AUB by the eminent Ophthalmologist Dr Samir Saleeby.

The core of this important collection of works, all renowned Lebanese artists, is Khalil Saleeby (1870-1928) a family relative of the donor.

Four nudes will be traveling to Paris for exhibition at the Institut Du Monde Arabe ‘Le Corps decouvert’ March 26-July 15 2012, details on their website.

It will be the first time these paintings, all in original condition and recently conserved, have left Lebanon.
